Join me each Sunday from 8-9 AM at the Lumbery in Cape Elizabeth for a community vinyasa flow. The Lumbery has a beautiful, sunny space perfect for yoga, and I’m excited to collaborate with them and host these classes. Please plan to arrive ten minutes before the class starts. Bring a mat if you have access to one, though extras will be provided. If you like to use blocks and have access to them, feel free to bring them along. In the future I hope to supply more props! All ages are welcome. Classes are intro level.
These classes are an offering to the community, and they are free for everyone. There is a limit of 10 per class, sign up to reserve your space.
Vinyasa is a dynamic, medium paced style of yoga. It focuses on strengthening the entire body and increasing flexibility while also maintaining a deep connection to the breath. Vinyasa flows will include variations of sun salutations, lunges, abdominal work, strengthening postures, and hip openers. Vinyasa yoga is not only a good way to move but also a great way to reduce stress in both the body and mind, always ending in a few minutes of savasana to let the practice sink in.
