nice to meet you!

I fell in love with yoga when my mom introduced me to the practice as a child. Yoga has helped me learn so much about the way I interact with myself the world. It has led me to different corners of the globe. Its philosophy and history ignite a flame within me.

I grew up in South Portland Maine, and have loved the ocean since I can remember. Teaching yoga has allowed me to live along the coastlines of various countries and find waves in between classes.

I had the privilege to complete a 200 hour yoga training in Tenerife, Spain, with La Casa Shambala and 300 hour training in Rishikesh, India, with Vinyasa Yogashala. I love to teach vinyasa yoga, linking breath to movement and movement to intention. I also enjoy teaching more powerful yoga classes such as yoga sculpt and power yoga.

Since training I’ve enjoyed teaching in Central America, at home in Maine, and in Morocco. I’m currently in Maine, teaching yoga at Salud in Portland, and at the Lumbery in Cape Elizabeth. I’m looking forward to a summer full of yoga and time near/on/in the water. This summer I’ll also be preparing for my upcoming move to Costa Rica, where I will complete my undergraduate studies online, keep teaching yoga, and of course, be in the water as much as I can. I hope to see you at a class soon.
